These are great for wooden, UPVC/plastic and metal doors, but would recommend a professionaal for anything to do with glass.

No - The glass in the door should already be toughened and you can not cut toughened glass, so we will need to replace the unit (worth hanging on to the double glazed unit we take ut as should you move or need to put this back at a later date will save you some money).
